Z87 polarized sunglasses recommendations?

I’ve had a pair of glass lens Smith polarized sunglasses for years. I like the scratch resistance of the glass lenses. I’d like to get a pair of sunglasses that work well for work. These 3M shaded z87 things are comfortable, but pretty much junk for vision.

Any recommendations?

These Smith Chamber Elite, with brown polarized lenses, say they’re z87.1 certified… $125 retail.

Also, you don’t want brown lenses. I believe the best lens colors for eye health when working on water are green and orange.

I love my WileyX P-17.
“Proprietary Polarized Lens Technology Adds 99.9% Polarization to 100% UV Protection for Unequaled Clarity & Contrast.”

They are usually ~$85 - $90 on Amazon.

Plain old Ray Ban Polarized New Wayfarers, they come in two frame sizes. $100 new on eBay. Glass lenses. Replacement lenses easy to find an inexpensive. Warranteed.

Check out Bolle…won’t break your wallet and they sell models with the polarized blue offshore lenses. Most of their styles are comfortable. They are under 100 bucks (well under) so you can get a few pair.

Are glass lenses ANSI rated Z87?

I just ordered a pair of Shady Rays Series X which are designed for water sports, impact resistant, polarized, etc . Extremely favorable reviews and they’re only $35.
