I don’t believe I am the only one who is disappointed in the sudden action. Yes, a very heated debate, but a debate all the same. The overall points of contention were valid for the individual threads in question.
If some posts were considered offensive (yes, even I admit to going too far on occasion) then they should be individually deleted but the overall content which involving verbal fisticuffs, was germane and topical to current matters of importance to many of the members of the forum.

CC,
honestly, it was probably b/c you actually advocated physical destruction of the place. i made sure i never actually wrote what i wanted to happen to the place, and that had nothing to do with whether i would vote “yes” or “no” on closing it down.

AH BULLPIZZLE on THAT! I think is was worse…I think it was when I used the word “pubic”! That is a 20kiloton word that can cause a far greater gaping hole in the earth than a whole 5ton Army truck stuffed full of cratering charges.
I still think the little darlin deserved the description but I will abide.
The threads were closed because the status quo (whom ever that may be) insists that they must remain above all (and any possible) criticism which could possible sully their esteemed repu(ke)tation.
Now, run along and follow the mainstream media. After all, that is where the majority gets it’s lemming info from.

King’s point is waste of taxpayer’s money. If you can’t say that in 200+ posts you’re not going to get there.
Hey CC - KP05 is gone with the wind. In getting that thread zapped, every KP05 post has disappeared.
well, KP05 disappeared as a USMMA cheerleader sycophant but he is still posting RahRah Navee nonsense about all the sooper ooper dooper fire control systems we have on our ships and that USN officers are “jacks of all trades but masters of none”

but it is the simple cathartic joy in bashing that “jewel” of a Federal Academie over and over and over forever

Yeah I am still around. No Rahrah Navee nonsense, I’m more against the way we do things navigation-wise in the Navy. I’m over the KP argument, I’ve picked up that a lot of people here at gCaptain aren’t fond of the school and it’s not worth arguing about. And nothing is worth listening to the pedantic posts of C.Captain about how much he hates KP even though he went there.
