Russian M91/30 rifle made in 1942. With POINTY stick on the end!!! $99.00 bucks at Fleet Farm. Came with two pouches, bayo, cleaning kit,oil bottle and sling. Covered in gunk. Hopefully, I’ll get a chance to shoot it before I go back. Out of the box it needs, trigger work and some polishing on the bolt so it runs smoother.
Shoots 7.62x54R. 440 rounds = $80 bucks or so.

Nice Mosin Nagant Reb, but I got you beat, I added this little gem to my collection last time I was home. Care to say hello to my little friend?

Here’s a Valmet 76 I picked up a few years ago.

Here’s a basic pistol collection one should have. I’ve bagged everything in NA with a handgun except grizzleys, polar bear and moose. I’ve bagged everything with antique military rifles except a polar bear. I also have a pristine '98 30 40 Krag with origional bayonet, cleaning kit and sling. White tail deer line up to be killed with this rifle!
Nice Kalasnikov you have there. Nice 629 classic and 1911’s as well.
I just found a H&R garand from the serial number it is a late 1943 issue. A local old timer has it, supposedly seen action at Iwo Jima, and has some documentation to prove it. I hope to have that in my collection in a day or two. It has the original bayonet, sling and everything with it. I just missed a sniper edition garand last week, it had the original side mount and scope, plus everything else that went with it. Dang!!!

Somebody likes Dirty Harry! Nice 29 and Auto-mag!!

That’s a Colt Anaconda with the scope. The 44 Automag is a Pasadena model.
Be careful with the sniper rifle claims being advertised. Especially with the Russian rifles. Don’t even bother with the Persian mausers they are selling now.

So…what did I win?
I have some more toys on my proflie in the “pix” section. I’ve been looking for a AK folder in 5.45x39. Last one I saw was $600 to much for me. Would like to get one cause the ammo is $125 or so for 1080 rounds.
I like to shoot the toys alot so it precludes any “special” toys that take exotic ammo or weapons that are collector pieces. The only spendy ammo weapon I have is a .44 mag stainless six-gun and I think it may be a collector piece. Virginia Dragoon made by Interarms,Va. Stamped on the butt is “Freedom Forever” I thought it was cool, and felt it spoke me so I bought it. It sits in my nightstand ready to blow any idiots out of my house.
I have the usual assorted toys, M4 carbon fiber lower,Tec-9,k98,m44,m91(now)M1 carbine,SKS,Winchester 1200 defender, PSL 54c,PPS 43,AK etc mostly milspec and some just for fun.(tec-9) Someday I need to lay em all out and take a group photo. (I’ll need to do it while the wife is at work, lol)
I really enjoy the cheaper ones that I can tinker with.

Well if your ever in the U.P. of Mi look me up and we will go shoot!

Oh a Colt, I have not been around enough of them to recognize it, sorry It looked like a 629 to me. Very nice either way.
Ya i hear ya about the false claims from people. The one I missed was a springfield garand, sniper edition. It was the real thing, I was about 15 minutes late getting there, the guy that got it was walking out with it when I drove up.

Yeah lots of fake M91’s out there. Better than buying a “repop” For $400-$600 I’ll just build my own. Bent bolt is $80 or send mine in for $45. I have an extra posp 1 scope (AK,AKM,PSL), may see about getting a mount for the M91 and building my own “sniper” model. Cause it’s a wonderful scope on the PSL. Only 4X mag. They are offset to the left but I shoot left handed.
Almost forgot I heard a rumor that they “found” cases of STG44’s in Syria? Scratch that THEY DID FIND A SHIT LOAD…I think Im gonna vomit…what a shame.

I’ve been trying to find a 6MM Lee in unaltered condition for many years to top off my collection. I missed one 20 years ago by a couple of hours. The old lady sold it for $50! A few years later at a gun show, a guy had one 80% that was asking $1000. He also had a pristine 6.5 Jap with the mum still on the receiver.
This is what I plan to do with mine. I already have the posp 1 scope. - $28 bucks for the mount. $45 - $80 for the bent bolt.

Oh my goodness, I’m so jealous, heading off to EBay straight away and get me some, I’ll look marvelous, just you wait and see. Say, I’ll need a pointy stick too.
Took it to the range. Sticky bolt… like slam it to open.I think the accuracy is good was shooting a 10 inch plate with iron sights at 240 yards. About one in 5 on target. I think the rifle is better than Iam. I did notice the barrel is a counterbored muzzle. Meaning the crown is about three inches inside the bore at the end. Seems odd that they would do this. The rifling is deep and sharp not worn a bit?? Werid?
I’m going to scrub the shit out of the chamber and polish it.(20 gauge wire brush and mothers polish w/ drill) I will also polish the firing pin/boltface as well.
I did polish the trigger today, big diffrence in the pull. much, much improved over the creaky, scrachy stock/issue trigger.
Iam really, really hoping it’s not a headspace issue. If it is I guess I’ll be learning about something new.
