Lots of Superyachts visiting Ålesund at this time of the year, but this one is more super than most:

The yacht “Legend” at Aspevågen in Ålesund. The yacht is 77 m long, 13.2 m wide.

“Legend”, which was built in 1974 by IHC Verschure, is described as being equipped to withstand almost any climate imaginable, while providing the best comfort for her guests .
The yacht has countless facilities, including a spa, cinema and fitness room. “Legend” has a crew of 28 people and can accommodate 22 guests.
The boat has visited Italy, France, Croatia and Greece, and the journey is not over yet.
If you want to rent this superyacht, you have to shell out approximately NOK 7.3 million per week.

“Sport” is also a so-called superyacht that stayed in Aspevågen on Wednesday afternoon.
This boat is 44.7 m long, 9.2 m wide and has a capacity of 10 passengers and a crew of 9.
“Sport” was built by Feadship in the Netherlands in 2007 and was later rehabilitated in 2024.
The Amalfi Coast, Corsica, the French Riviera and Sardinia are planned route stops for this luxury vessel.

Big Beaver is notorious for a stunt she did in Norway in 2022:
The 25-meter-long yacht, worth around 70 million kroner, became the big talk of the summer along the Sørland coast in 2022. The video of “Big Beaver” speeding through a narrow strait in Søgne was watched by hundreds of thousands of Norwegians.

A regular visitor is back in Ålesund tonight:

It arrived in Ålesund from Geiranger on Wednesday, according to Marine Traffic.
According to YachtCharterFleet, the yacht was built in 1974 and last updated in 2019. It is 77.4 meters long and can accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 cabins. There are 28 employees working on board.

Originally named Giant, the yacht is designed to withstand almost any climate imaginable, while providing great comfort to its guests. In 2017, the yacht won the award for best updated superyacht at The World Superyacht Awards.

Onboard facilities include a beauty salon, spa, jacuzzi, whiskey bar and a 14-seat cinema. You can also choose to book a submarine, two helicopters, three jet skis and several water activities.

Legend can be chartered in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, with Norway being the only destination in Northern Europe. The price to charter the yacht is approximately 8.5 million Norwegian kroner in the summer season, and around 8.1 million in the winter season.

Today’s super yacht visitor in Ålesund is named “Moonstone”:

According to superyachttimes.com, the yacht was built by Delta Marine in the USA and launched in 2016.
“Moonstone” has a volume of 2,149 gross tons, a width of 13 meters and a depth of 4.1 meters. The design is a collaboration between several well-known designers, including Harrison Eidsgaard, while Delta Design Group was responsible for the maritime architecture.

The Wanderlust is presently in Ålesund:

The superyacht “Wanderlust” is located at Skanskekaia in Ålesund on Saturday.
The 85-meter ship was built by Silver Yachts in Australia in 2022, with a design by Espen Øino International. It accommodates 16 guests and a crew of 21.

The luxury yacht Avanti anchored at Lobukta on Monday. The price tag for the 74-meter-long boat is said to be 1 billion kroner.

The ship flies the royal standard when the king is on board. The Royal yacht flies the state flag when neither the King, Queen, nor the Crown Prince are on board, which is the case now.

According to AIS she arrived from Florø via Selje at mid-day today. No further ports indicated.
