The “Great Lake” ships being built are along the lines of Seawaymax ships that have a LOA and beam of limitation to fit through the canal locks of the St. Lawrence Seaway. This will allow them to get through the locks and sail in the Great Lakes.

The ships Navibulgar are building have a LOA of 190M and a beam of 23.7M.

Anything beyond short term temporary deployment in Canada requires Canadian flag and Canadian mariners.
