Suez Canal LR2 tanker premium hits record $500,000 on Russia sanctions rush

The premium for the Suez Canal transit over the Cape of Good Hope route for Long Range 2 tankers has surged from $300,000 three weeks ago, according to Platts data from S&P Global Energy.
Platts assessed the Persian Gulf-UKC route at $4.4 million for LR2s and at $3.65 million for LR1s via the Suez Canal on Dec. 15, both up $150,000 day over day.

Videos/pictures reveal gearless mini bulker but without ships data one can guess it could by anything between 2000-4000 tons.
From videos it is evident it was minimal(partial ) load far below the Plimsol mark( on condition this rusty bucket had any) .
I am not sure about the offenders sofistication as I would cover it under full load of salt in the center of the hold, what with gearless condition of said vessel would make recovery with shovels extremely difficult and labour intensive , let alone possible in the open sea. Also voyage planning was very sloppy as evidenced by lack of fuel to complete the adventure. These facts alone deny them the attribute of sofistication. They were amateurs at best.
From Brasil? That is a great surprise as for the last month I heard only about narco empire called Trampzuela poisoning the world using speedboats with range well below 1200 Nm . (ca Puerto Cabello-Miami)
From the content it seems that the Spanish authority acted in cooperation with DEA, Brasilian narco busters, and the other gang from NATO . Looks they forgot to enlist the cooperation of the Flag State or they did but it was not worth mentioning here.
Kudos for police blokes shoveling with passion . It seems to me that UNCLOS will be in dire need for revision as boarding in international waters becomes almost daily routine. Wonder what is coming next .
