If it is anything like the 300 footer they are building now it will be a disaster. That boat is nothing but a supply boat with a small crane and a heliport.
You can’t run a construction boat like that, you have to have a fast ballast system to counter the crane when making heavy lifts, a place for the ROV besides the weather deck, and a big A and R winch to be any real use in deep water. The one they are building now is no where near a construction boat.
I would be real suprized if Harvey is building something that big. That would have to be unlimited tonnage, now way around it.
