Master osv 3000 upgrade to master unlimited near coastal

Hello to all i was looking for info on upgrading from master osv 3000 to master unlimited near coastal
i hold ( oicnw) 500 gt or more,
my stcw says
ii/1,ii/2,ii/4,ii/5,iv/2,vi/1,vi/2,vi/3,vi/4,vi/5,vi/6,flashing lights,ecdis,
i never took a mates exam i went from
master of towing vessels upon near coastal waters to 500 master near coastal and got the master osv 3000
endorsement
I HOLD A MASTER 1600 GRT 3000 ITC NEAR COASTAL
i was looking and the pdf sheet on the nmc website and master osv and master unlimited.
Both licenses you need the same amount of seatime.
Any info on this matter will help.

Jd cavo or anyone have skills in this area please help

Under the new regulations, you can go from Master (OSV) to [U][B]STCW[/B][/U] Master > 3000 GT (Management Level) having completed the assessments in policy letter 04-02, and sea time beginning prior to March 24, 2014. (See New Master OSV Checklist/CFR)

To my knowledge, there is no way to go from Master 500/1600grt/3000itc OSV (National) to Unlimited Master (National) without running the 3rd, 2nd, Chief Mate gauntlet.

Side note…I still can’t make sense of why a 2nd Mate AGT can cross to Master 1600grt with a limited exam, but not vice versa. Anyone?
