Hello,

I was wondering for my entry level MMC app whether or not I can have a notary at my local UPS sign off on my Mariner Oath docs or do I need an additional witness.

I did mine at a REC. Eons ago. Prolly Be your best bet unless you are a long ways away. Otherwise the form says, “…do not sign unless in the presence of a Notary or other official duly authorized to witness an oath.” Or see 46 CFR 10.225 ( c )

Any notary can do it.

Usually someone at your bank branch is a notary.
