Hey guys, quick question,
I recently passed my FOWT examination, and have a job lined up in the next few days through my company, but I have not received stickers from the Coast Guard. Will this be a problem, or is there another way to verify my credentials?

Someone’s credentials can be verified online. From the NMC homepage go to ‘Credential Verification’ on the lower left. Follow the links.

Pretty sure you need to have your stickers in your book, and your book with you to sail on those ratings though.
Reckon you’re required to have it in hand by the letter of the law, but the company/Union could theoretically cut you slack as far as hiring you for the position.
