Lapware questions

I’m getting ready to take my Mate 500 (O) and, of course, I spent the money for Lapware, I have been using the Test Templates for the modules I’m already comfortable with ( Q100-ROTR, 181 Deck Gen., 182 Nav. Gen., 183 Deck Safety…) but now I’m trying to study for the Nav. Probs. 184 Chart Plot (This Template is not even available), 185 Near Coastal, 186 Celestial in the Review Questions ( the recommended method of studying ). In the Review Questions mode modules are not an option…instead they just have the exam code (21RD for Mate 500/1600 (O) ) but when I select 21RD…question filters set to “Any”, I get the Error Message: No question found remove filter and try again. I tried everything…changing all the filters…Study mode, Training mode, Test mode… Nothing !
Has ANYONE had a similar problem? it seems unbelievable to me that the questions for nearly half the modules on test 21RD would not be available on Lapware…I was told all the problems had the solutions available and this was the way to go, but it seems like if I can’t get it to work I have just wasted my money…
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you email them they will get back to you about any question that you have very quickly. Keep in mind however that it is a holiday weekend.

I emailed them yesterday, but nobody has gotten back to me yet…
Anybody with Lapware currently able to help?
Do you have the same problem in the Review Questions mode for Nav. Probs. for Exam 21RD…?
At first I thought I might be doing something wrong, but after hours of trying, I’m starting to think there may be a glitch with Lapware on this…
Any help here is greatly appreciated.

In the past whenever I had a technical issue, they were very quick to help out via email. They’ll probably get back to you after the weekend.

For what its worth, the practice tests for the nav problems very closely mirrors what you will see on your actual test…so if you can crank through practice tests until you make contact with them it’s better than nothing…

Hmmm…I’d have thought I would have heard back from them by now…

I had to start using Lapware on IE. Can’t open the enlarged drawings with Chrome or Firefox. I get asked to download a plug-in, and when I install the plug-in, I get the same error message. No problem with IE.

Thanks…I’m loathe to install IE on my Mac… but what choice do I have.
I guess I could borrow my kid’s PC…
…still no word from Lapware.

You can try it and see- and uninstall if it doesn’t work. Just something to check out.

Man…this is starting to really suck!
I tried it in IE, Chrome, and Firefox…no joy.
Not only that but nobody has even replied to my issue, I even tried again today.
This is highly frustrating…I feel like I’ve wasted money. I haven’t been able to study for my Nav. Problems and that was the main reason I spent the money in the first place…starting to think I should have just went with Seasources.net.
…bummed.

They may give you some credit for your grief once you make contact with them…don’t know how you are connecting, but I remember when I used mobile hotspot or wifi I used to have some issues with use as opposed to being ‘plugged in.’

…over a week, messages sent to everyone with a contact button on Lapware and I haven’t heard from anyone. Does anyone have contact info for Capt. Murphy or Mr. Plant?
Almost to a man, all the reviews and forum comments said that they were pretty diligent with getting back to people with Lapware issues promptly, but from my end it just seems like they dropped the ball or just don’t care…

That is unusual. Richard has always gotten back to me very promptly. Maybe he is on vacation.?

I am happy to report that: A) the issue with Lapware wasn’t on my end and B) it has been resolved.
…looking forward to getting back to it, and yes, they did give me a break for the inconvenience.

That’s good to hear!
