My MMC is about ready to be issued. At them moment I’m filling out applications as a preliminary thing. I’d like to work for Interlake Steamship, however they want to contact former employers. Under normal circumstances this would be ok. However one of my bosses stalked me, and not putting down this job would put a blaring hole in my employment history. What should I do?
Probably explain to someone in person or on the phone you would rather not have your current employer contacted until you secure a position with Interlake. Make a note on any future applications anywhere else. Not really anything difficult here.
