I have a betta at home and I was wondering if we are allowed to have fish in the dorm rooms. I called housing earlier today but the person wasn’t sure.
Don’t call housing. Just bring it. They hardly ever do inspections, and if they see it, they won’t give a shit. Make friends with your RA. Better yet, lemme know who your RA is and I’ll straighten out for you. Shouldnt be a problem either way. There are bigger things to worry about then beta fish.
Don’t worry about it. Just throw a sheet over it when they do the inspection. I had to do this with my keg so I doubt a small fish will be a problem

Oh I bet they had them. They weren’t really “room inspections” Basically they were making sure you weren’t plugging too many things into the sockets and safety items. In fact I think thats what they called the safety inspections. They couldn’t look inside lockers for refrigerators. They would do them once maybe twice a semester.
Maybe you are right not that I remember much of that anymore I hated being at the dorms. Upper res was a brick tub full of puke and strange smells lol.
Right they ARE safety inspections… I forgot about that… When I’m bored, I’ll post a great story about one the “safety inspections”…
