Call EMD training directly…they can very easily send one out to you.

I also did this search prior to posting.

Unfortunately this does not bring up any useful or direct links, just promo materials, etc.

Any other suggestions?

I will have to guess you don’t have one on the boat you are working on, unless this is for some sort of personal reason. If your port engineer or maintenance dept. won’t furnish you a manual, I don’t think I would want to be working for them anyway. Ask him to send you one, if not call some of the distruibters in your area. Two of the big ones that come to mind are Stewart and Stevenson, and M.S.I. Most will have something they can send you if you ask them nicely. Try to befriend one of the technican’s the next time one is around, they are usually pretty good about wanting to help out. It has been over a decade since I worked on a EMD, but I don’t remember ever seeing one of there manuals on PDF, it is very lengthly. I was given an entire set (645 and 710) about 20 year’s ago when I went through the EMD traing facility in LaGrange, IL. Every one of the books they gave me were easily over a 1000 pages long. I used to carry a tune up and trouble shooting guide they gave me that was small and fit into a brief case easy, but since I havent seen an EMD in so long it stays at home now on my book shelf with the rest of the collection I have.
