Been meaning to post this for some time. The USN Towing Manual is an incredible resource. No tugboater should be without it. The pdf file is about 15 mb so I can’t post it as an attachment.

Thanks! That has lots of good info. I have the original edition I think from over 20 years ago. There is much more pertinent info in this revised edition that you posted.
