Dr. Fauci

I’m assuming we’re talking about the list of tweets that showed the administration was downplaying the severity of the virus in the beginning. (if you’re talking about the in depth drill down of statistics of POTUS’s golf habits, I’m not going to engage in talking about that as I don’t like to make light of the unhealthy obsession that was displayed there)

Regarding the admin’s initial response, yeah, they underestimated the virus in its early stages…what’s your point? It’s noted and agreed…and then?

Now that a few mins have passed since you typed this, do you find that to be a little embarrassing? Did you spike your mouse in the ‘endzone’ afterwards?

You are sadly mistaken. And way off base. You should at least glance at the article and glean the reference.

Ok, I guess this means you were referring to the link you posted in this thread vice the conversation from the other night that you referenced. I’ll check it out.

edit: @CoastalTrader: can you cut and paste the info from that NYT article you posted? It requires a subscription to access.

Truthteller:
Noun

  1. One who tells the truth.

Antonyms:

  1. Liar
  2. Trump

Use in a sentence:
If Trump was on fire he would say he is cold and wet.

That’s correct. The reference to the other night was with respect to rhetorical technique and expending effort. Nothing substantive.

I see that you added some of your bias into that definition but couldn’t quite bring yourself to add any reference to the modern media. This is good as we have now found some semblance of a boundary in the leftward direction for you.

I have a lot of comments about the items on this list, but none of them have to do with Dr. Fauci which is the title of this thread. If you start a new thread about ‘why the NYT thinks Trump is bad’, I’ll participate.

Speaking of the good Doctor, he took the stage at 6:01 EST so I guess he’s still part of the team for now.

I was at the store today, Grapes (Sour or sweet) are still on sale and in stock. Looks like the stores (with the exception of TP) are selling most of the same stuff they have for years. Also saw Fauci on TV today when I got back.

Trump had no choice but to call him back. Did he speak or just play hood ornament for the Trumpmobile?

Is this a metaphor of some kind or just a report of what you observed in your local Piggly Wiggly?

Yes. I should have been more specific…he took the podium/microphone at 6:01pm EST.

LOL, haven’t seen a Piggly Wiggly here in many decades. But some around here still have grapes.

Aesop’s Fables, “The Fox and the Grapes”. I believe him to mean sore loser.

The are no grapes of any kind. Only spiny thistles.

“The Frogs Who Desired a King” might be applicable.

Governor Cuomo earlier tonight:

In reference to dems mad about losing the election almost 4 years ago? Something else?

Yes. Ask him . A misuse of the fable in any case. It wouldn’t be limited to Democrats however. It could apply to anyone dissatisfied with the end result of the election.

Wjat about the time that Trump said “I don’t need you, I have a Pen and a Phone”. How dare he say that!!! Any President that has the never to say that should be Impeached!

Oh, never mind, it wasn’t Trump that said that so all is well.

I hate posting things from Foxnews but strangely I couldn’t find this story on the usual suspects’ sites.
