I can. And I did. Facts are facts. No matter where they are found.
Okay, I’ll go along with what you’re saying as long as you agree that the NYT opinionnpage is not the most unbiased source you could use.
The New York Times opinion poll page is not where you find any facts. You will find others that agree with you there, but I can do that here sometimes too. Alex Jones has a lot of people who agree with him too. Probably just as credible a source.
It’s a list. Expediency was the goal. Not persuasion.
So getting it out there is more important than accuracy. Got it.
The accuracy is presumed. Is it in doubt? How so?
Because it’s the New York Times opinion page.
Here’s another opinion-
An article can be both biased and factual. In writing a biased article in support of an argument a writer would include facts that support his augment and leave out facts that don’t.
I agree with that 100%. Better said than I could , after hitting the Busch Light train today. Haha
Fallacy of circular argument. Game, set, match Coastaltrader.
@Jamesbrown That’s how it’s done when someone punches above their weight class. Don’t flail toe to toe when all the facts are on your side. It’s pointless. Keep 'em on the defensive and let them punch themselves out. I thought you did pretty well the other night BTW.
Okay, in talking about punching above their weight class, let’s quote Billy Conn, my fellow Irishman, who was beating Joe Louis before getting into a slugfest with him, “What’s the point of being Irish if you cant be thick?” As my last name is Mahoney and I have a beer in my hand, I was yanking your chain from boredom. I dont3really care either way.
Pro tip:. If you’re gonna play the “I’m the intellectually superior enlightened one here” card, a basic mastery of the English language is a must. Otherwise the weigh you come across is whey above your wait class as well.
Thank you. Editing error, but point well taken. Fixed. And it’s not intellect, it’s rhetorical skill.
except that:
that’s your real circular arguement…you post a Salon article that “proves” your point, and I reply with a Fox news article that “proves” my point.
this was one of the most laughable things I’ve read on this forum in a while…truth tellers indeed…haha
Busch Light. The true King of Beers!
Those facts are not seriously in dispute are they? That’s what I was standing firm on. Not any particular opinion. It was a list of facts all in one place.
Haha
