Dutch citizens are more and more annoyed by the arrogance of a Brusselâs elite which seem to be unstoppable. The same elite drove Britain out of the EU which frustrated the Dutch very much but most have to admit that in the end they made the right decision.

There is another more serious storm brewing at the moment that is a real threat to the existence of the EU, a schism is lurking. There has been already for many years, see for instance the Greek crisis, a constant flow of cash seen moving from North Europe to South Europe.
At the moment they are trying to take advantage of the Corona crisis and as a result there have been sickening blackmail attempts by the heads of government of Italy, Prime Minister Conte, and of France, President Macron to increase the cash flow to new heights.
They both abuse the corona crisis in an attempt to get their structural sovereign debt financed by Northern European countries. They are always saying that countries such as Germany and especially the Netherlands do not show solidarity in tackling the corona crisis and both believe that we should pay hundreds of billions of euros to them without any conditions and without having to pay one cent of interest. borrow, read donate; because everything you lend to these countries will never come back.
With their fervently desired corona bonds, these Sun Kings once again seek further postponement of much needed reforms to their economies.
