Recently there has been criticism of Dr. Brix for not correcting Trump when he went of the deep end (yet again) Yet it seems that between the courtesy accorded to the POTUS and the ethics of medical professionals, the opportunity the rest of us would have her to take fell silent. Perhaps this is how pods of whales wash up on beaches when an errant leader isn’t called to question. Then we saw what happened to the Aircraft Carrier Captain.
Recently it happened again at the Mayo Clinic (a most prestigious medical facility) and no one was willing to tell the VPOTUS “wear one or get out” !!
David Letterman who has been silent for awhile now recently sound off about this on the Howard Stern show.

I don’t see why they don’t just create some life size jpg files that could print cardboard cut out of Pence so that Pence could stay in DC. Then if he needed to appear somewhere
they would only need to print him, place him where the cameras could get a glimpse of him, save the tax payers some money and…assure the arrogant ass couldn’t possibly spread the virus in Hospitals. (and spare the angels who hover over him so they can go look over those with the virus who really need them now)

Yeah, right. And the 1st assistant moron never wondered why everyone in his entourage and field of view was masked except for him? It is simply amazing that our electoral system can allow the level of idiocy we see every day to exist.

Anyone who has read about the war in Burma will have deep respect for those who fought there. One thing Colonel Tom is wearing 3 medals, my father who served from 1936 until 1956 had six plus one awarded by the Russians in 1980 for Russian convoys to Murmansk. They sure didn’t give them away then.

It can continue for a long time with an alternation of relaxation and re-tightening the reins. Until - in a year, in a year and a half? - a vaccine has been developed. That has yet to be tested and then distributed to all humanity. Only then is Covid-19 most likely defeated. All together this can take two or three years before it is over, the virus is in no hurry that we know.
Until at least the year 2024, countries should be wary that the virus will not suddenly resurface in all its severity, and until 2022, partial or total lockdowns will be required to repress it. That is not all. It is also quite possible that the virus will not provide lasting immunity after a past infection, but may reinfect humans after a while, as is often the case with respiratory viruses. This could lead to summers without too many problems, while in autumn the virus will emerge extra vigorously.
