Best mobile phone carrier in Port Fourchon?

I know there has got to be a post somewhere on this topic. But danged if I can find it. Any thoughts or opinions on the different cell phone carriers in the Port Fourchon area would be appreciated.
I started out with Verizon 4 years ago. But they seemed to be expensive. So I have been using T-Mobile the last 2 years and they stink IMHO. maybe it is time to go back to Verizon or maybe try something new? I heard AT&T has gotten better?

Verizon has worked well for me. No complaints

Sprint worked well for me in Fourchon, I was even able to use my phone as a hotspot in my cabin.

Verizon works great for me. Even inside my room I get 4g most of the time. I’ve been using the mobile hotspot with my laptop and it is so much better than the vessel’s wifi.

Same experience here.

How’s the reception “Kitchen” ???

AT&T has gotten real good this past year.

I have Verizon and get 4G LTE in my cabin. Don’t have many problems. They are slightly more expensive. Hear AT&T finally got their 4G LTE tower up and running now, so that may be another good alternative.

Noticed I’ve got 2-3 bars and LTE with T Mobile in and around slip B. Couple weeks ago in the same location I had 5 bars with 4G and could barely download a website. Pretty fast now. Anyone else notice any increase in coverage? Will have to look into this.

AT&T is a lot better however, during typical watch change (midnight / Noon) they really have issues with data.

I have Verizon and it is expensive but it works in my room like it’s been mentioned before. I brought a pay stub into a actual Verizon store and was given a 16% discount off my bill cause my company has phones with that. Also called up asking how I can lower my bill. Lady gave me 8 dollars off by just me asking. Not bad.

I had a similar situation is Verizon earlier this month. I had increased my data plan (from 3 MB to 10 GB for an additional $10) while spending time in Fourchon. I was up to 9 GB, and decided to wait until 2300 on the last day of the billing cycle to use the remaining time without going over my limit. But when I went on line at 2300, Verizon had already rolled me over into the next billing cycle.

I called them, and they have given me an additional 500 MB per month for a year, kept me at 10 GB (now 10.5 GB total), and discounted my monthly fee by $15. So now I am paying less (by $5 per month) for more GB. Also got an extender for cell phone use at home at a $75 discount.
