Who does cg physicals in the Hampton Roads area?

I’m getting a little tired of “we don’t do those”

Do you not have a family doctor? Mine did my last one.

Taylor made diagnostics. They are in Chesapeake (South Norfolk) off poindexter.

Its around ~$125.00

It’s pretty simple: Download the CG 719 form then take it to Ol’ saw bones… most any doctor does them…

I had went to internal medicine specialists in downtown Norfolk. I forgot how much it cost. Here is there number if you would like to call them and see how much they charge.

757-627-7283 Ext. 302

Easiest place is I and O Medical Center on Diamond Springs at Northampton Blvd. They do them all the time. $99.

My doctor didnt want to do mine. He said he isnt set up for all of the new stuff you have to do like: climb a ladder, drag weights across the floor while on your knees, drag a firehose, etc.

that sounds like workboat physical…

I usually go to the now care on indian river road, in and out in about an hour. And it was about $80.

They only want you to do something similar if youre BMI is over 40% to prove you can do the stuff required in an emergency. Other wise they just need you to turn your head and cough and take your blood pressure. Take your time and read the form and explain to your doctor what you need them to do.

Call TWIC Center in Norfolk, I bet they got DOT CG Physicals there…

Got it done today at I/O medical center on Diamond Springs. Paid $155, that included the drug screen as my current employer only does hiring drug screens. It was quick and relatively simple although I learned I am a bit more presbyopic these days. I had a little trouble reading the very bottom line on the eye chart in close.

It was pretty basic, visual/colorblindness/hearing (whisper test), bend over touch toes, etc. Height/weight blood pressure, urine check (drug screen is extra and goes to LabCorp).

Best of all you, you can walk in. Waited about 20 minutes tops.

Thanks to all who replied.

You probably don’t have to do those things. The demonstration is only required if the doctor doubts your ability to perform the guidelines, or if your BMI is over 40.

Well, got 'er done at I/O on Diamond Springs. Paid 85 for the physical and 90 for the drug screen. My current employer only does drug screens when they hire so I needed a current one.

It was pretty cut and dried, bend over touch toes, eye exam, hearing, and so on. I was out in approx. 90 minutes.

They take walk-ins. Bring a book. I didn’t wait long to be seen, though.

Thanks for all the replies.
