What's up at Harvey?

Hear they are pulling a lot of people from ECO and OCLLC.

GulfMark as well. We have had several in all positions head over there.

I’m sure HOS as well. money talks I guess.

We’ve had quite a few deckhands leave, no one in the wheelhouse.

Apparently change goes both ways. My engineer is leaving Harvey for OC.

They have a 5 k sign on bonus if you are referred by a Harvey Employee 100 percent paid travel and scheduled quarterly raises

In '81, Command Marine flew the captains and chiefs to and from. Got some pretty good bonus checks and annual raises. It abruptly ended about '84.

Spoke with Harvey on the phone on Friday. They seem to only want people that are working presently with other supplyboat companies. That was the feeling I got. The person on the phone basically was saying “work for someone else for a time then give us a call”. Seems logical from a business point of view. May be the best route anyway , i.e. get a job and get experience and move on. At least they gave an honest answer.

Not only do you receive a 5K bonus (2.5K up front and the rest after probationary period) but the employee that referred you gets 5K also.

Also, they reimburse you for the expenses that you pay for COBRA to maintain health insurance.

One of the highest paying company for QMED.

I don’t work for Harvey but I have MANY friends that do.

How much does Harvey pay for 3rd captain position? I have heard 850 per day for third?

Good luck with that. Oh, I believe the 5K is only for officers. Just what I heard.

I am sure you are right, who the H would hand 5k to an OS, but a man can dream can’t he?
