…or should i work 'till I receive my 3rd AE license?
This is more of a hypothetical as I don’t want to leave the industry but would like to plan.
When you tell people on shore that you are a QMED you should get a lot of respect at first because 99.9% of them will think you’re a paramedic. Last year I looked at Indeed for jobs at my closest local hospital in Maintenance & I think I was qualified for all of them. I think with a QMED it would depend on what additional courses & training you have. HVAC (epa certified), plumbing, electrical etc. With this economy, I think you can work any shore career path that you want, where on the totem poll you start will be the question.
