Well if this is going to happen

I say no funding or take over of Sudan until the “Red Sea” name is changed to the “Red, White & Blue Sea” & all the people of Sudan are moved to Norway while the reconstruction is underway.

They’ll have to fight for space with the 2 Mln. displaced from Gaza:

Here Biden negotiated the peace settlement between Israel and Hamas before he left office. And the ink isn’t dry on the agreement yet and CJ is already setting up the roots of the next conflict.

How so? You started it as a Trump bashing thread, it seems to be following that course.

It sounds like it the outgoing Biden people and the incoming Trump people worked together to get this done. And that’s great.

“US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said it was the united efforts of envoys for both Trump and Biden united that got the deal through.“

How is wishing to profit from a plan President Trump himself put foward, “Trump bashing”?

It sounds like Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia are in talks to step up and rebuild Gaza.

It must have been tasty “kool-aid”.

Because that is how it works in Bizarro World.

If they don’t Palestinian refugees will be streaming into their countries. Like I said in another post, Gaza exists specifically because no Arab countries want more Palestinians. It’s cheaper for those Arab countries to put some buildings up then it is to deal with unwanted refugees.

Don’t worry, when US “take over Gaza” they will take care of the people that is living there. Maybe build shiny cities on hilltops around Death Valley CA to house them?
The US will feed them and take care of their children’s education and their health care while they are in US custody. (Temporarily of course)

Since Gaza then becomes “US territory”, US contractors will get all the contracts to clear the ruins and rebuild Gaza into a Pax Americana, using skilled US workers and supervisors as far as possible. Unskilled workers will be imported from 3rd world countries, as there are no local workforce available,

First Port(s) will have to be created along the Gaza coast, probably using the thousands of tonnes of rubbles left behind by the relentless Israeli bombing.

Materials will then be sourced from US manufacturers and carried across on US-flag ships, manned by US mariners.

A win-win situation for the US that both gets a lot of business for it’s companies and gain territory in the Middle-east. Maybe it can be not just a tourist and gambling destination but set up as a tax heaven?
Eventually this could attract rich individuals, not just from the US but the whole world, who take up residence and establish their corporate Hq. there.

What about the Palestinians? Well they will probably have got so used to the good life in their “holiday resort” in the US that they no longer wish to return to Gaza.
Or even to Israel for that matter.

We know now why CJ brought up the Gaza thing. It was a distraction to hide what is going on. Here’s what Musk was trying to cover up: he was under investigation by USAID beginning in September:

From Newsweek yesterday:

During a hearing at the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability in September, USAID Inspector General Paul K. Martin told Congress that the agency was examining its relationship with Starlink, one of Musk’s most prominent tech ventures.

In 2022, USAID and Starlink collaborated to provide 5,000 Starlink terminals to Ukraine, to give the country fighting Russian invasion access to Musk’s advanced internet system, operated through SpaceX, as reported by The Lever.

“In addition to another ongoing audit on direct budget support, we are examining USAID’s Energy Security Project, USAID’s oversight of Starlink Satellite Terminals provided to the Ukrainian government, and USAID’s efforts to protect against sexual exploitation and abuse in Ukraine,” Martin told Congress.

“When completed, we look forward to sharing the findings of these reports with the subcommittee.”

…and he’s a special appointee, not a regular appointee or employee, less oversight.

Just because you agree with a stupid, infantile, insulting ‘news’ article from undergraduate wankers, doesn’t mean it has any standing at all in the real world.

Maybe registrations in Europe are falling because bed-wetting zealots run the place and the costs of electricity skyrocket because you prefer moonbeams and fairy farts to power the place rather than nuclear, coal, oil and gas.

What I have noticed in my lifetime is clearly Palestinians got not friends in the middle east.
An Iraqi university history lecturer once told me thats because they are not Arabs hence nobody cares.

That is a “stupid, infantile, insulting” post from an old fart who doesn’t believe in the reality that is happening all around him:

BTW; costs of electricity in NW Europe skyrocket because supply of Russians gas was shut off in 2022, when the full scale invasion of Ukraine started.
(Supply to Central Europe via Ukraine ended 1, Jan, 2025)

Historical electricity price in Europe: Electricity price Europe 2024 monthly | Statista
Today’s electricity price in Europe: https://euenergy.live/
Today’s price here in NW Norway (Øre = NOK/100):
Highest price today at 5:00 PM-6:00 PM: 43.16 øre/kWh
Average price today: 25,00 øre/kWh
Lowest price today at 11.00-12.00: 17.39 øre/kWh

For comparison:

I don’t ‘believe’ in fairy tales because I understand science.

Because ‘bed-wetting zealots’ shut down perfectly good nuclear and coal fired power stations eg in Germany (because ‘climate change’ and anti-nuclear nuttiness), and thought they could rely on their ‘reliable’ enemy, Russia, to keep supplying gas in the face of their military equipment and financial support to Ukraine (then fighting and losing to Russia) instead of securing their own energy security from their own natural resources. Idiots!

Here’s my last electricity invoice. I haven’t paid out in about nine months - the idiots running this place are terrified of the escalating electricity prices caused by more and more ‘renewables’, and to make it seem cheaper (and assist in the forthcoming election) dump generous subsidies into the accounts of us ‘old farts’ who have already soaked up the subsidies they gave us for solar panels which export all day in our hot, (it’s hot every year tat this time) sunny summer (with full air conditioning and four fridges going flat out). How are your solar panels going today?

I expect I’ll have to pay something mid-year.

I forgot to mention that, yes, Australia’s temperatures are reported to be increasing. I did mention somewhere (NOAA topic?) back recently in this forum that the official temperature record of Australia compiled in a secret, computerised, homogenised way by our official Bureau of Meteorology has been revised three times (ie they used the same data set to produce three official records) in which the latest record produces the most satisfying warming trend that would be quoted in every ‘scientific’ article about Australia’s climate on the planet. Respectable scientists disagree but cannot challenge the results because the BOM won’t reveal the computer homogenisation algorithms or allow peer review of their results.

In short, the BOM data is unreliable. It produces a warming trend at long-established observation sites whose raw data is unmistakably slight cooling. Try Rutherglen as one such site if you want to dig further.

It’s called The Australian Climate Observations Reference Network - Surface Air Temperature (ACORN-SAT) dataset.

You always surprise me Dr.Bugge. The recent example of full scale invasion was in Iraq. And the one ,You so often talk about and bemoan but some others refuse to notice and even are afraid to mention it because it will result ( this full scale invasion) in the fully developed entertainment area , major tourst atraction , shopping centers as envisioned by two great leaders that have met recently in FL . How about we both book tickets now to see it in the very near future.? You surely agree it is a perfect example of conflict resolution. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Could have fooled me!!!
Would that be make-believe science, cooked up by some well known steady genius of ill repute?

I presume the Royal Society is not part of your trusted scientific institution, but I take the change of posting a link to one of their publications on the subject anyway:

Of course you can ignore anything that contains scientific facts that doesn’t suite you belief:
