Keel laid during October 1976, launched during September 1977, and completed on 01/10/1977, by Fosen Mekaniske Verksteder, Fevag, Norway.

Built as: ‘Nordvaer’ to 1988,
‘Nordic’ to 1992, &
‘Taporo VI’ ever since.
