Well Golleeee! What a surprise that must be to the Trumpian MAGA mega morons and orangeman’s idiot sycophants who will blame it on Biden, Kamala, or Hillary.
“The Bucks top up Trump’s pocket”
Another longish but excellent video of what is happening through the eyes of a former professor of law and criminal prosecutor talking to a former US Navy SEAL and CIA operative with extensive military deployments.
The lawyer, David Clements, (so you can all google him and fling shit) believes Trump is not simply attacking Iran, but attacking the worldwide resources of the deep state to cripple their finances and wherewithal to counter him before he turns to the corruption within USA which is obvious in the politicians, judiciary and law, elections, public servants and military.
Using his deep experience in the law, Clements has finally understood that the only answer is under military law, not through normal courts. Hence the GITMO expansion of cell accommodation, court rooms with media facilities, and even medical facilities for geriatric inmates.
Enjoy.
That wins the ultimate award for humor, sarcasm, obfuscation, gaslighting, admission, confession, distraction, equine fecal production, and good old fashioned babbling insanity spewing from one of the beguiled, befuddled, bemused, and boring sycophantic apologists for the madman who would be king and his enablers.
But it did provide a good laugh so thanks for that!

Argumentum ad hominem loses every time.
At least @tengineer1 gives me a happy smiley face indicating his complete approval.
The ramification of insanity……..
“ “Public trust in Donald Trump’s ability to meet the duties of his office has dropped to unprecedented lows as he threatens to destroy entire civilisations, unleashes chaos in the Middle East while violating Congressional war powers, aggressively insults the Pope of the Catholic Church and sends out artistic renderings online likening himself to Jesus Christ,” Raskin said in a statement.
"We are at a dangerous precipice.
“It is now a matter of national security for Congress to fulfill its responsibilities under the 25th Amendment to protect the American people from an increasingly volatile and unstable situation.”
The bipartisan commission would consist of eight retired statespersons including former presidents, vice presidents and cabinet members, selected by both parties.
And party leaders would also select four doctors and four psychiatrists to serve on the body.”
Never happen as long as congress is more interested in self preservation than the nation’s preservation. The last time congress acted in a bipartisan manner to preserve the rule of law regarding the executive was 53 years ago when Nixon was impeached . In retrospect Nixon looks like a choir boy compared to Trump. At least Nixon wasn’t getting rich off of scams, extortion, selling pardons etc., while in office.
You’ve really drunk the Kool-Aide if you’re trying to sane wash the idea that everyone but Trump is corrupt, therefore he needs to use the military to bring about his new world order.
I have some empathy for Republicans and conservatives that have supported Trump and can understand why they made that choice in the past, but at some point, enough is enough. It’s time to accept that your party has gone off the rails, or you really are going to become the fascists that the left proclaims you to be.
You would have to watch the video to understand why even a professor of law and former top prosecutor came to realise that his form of law couldn’t handle the depth of the corruption. I’ll leave the arguing to the experts. I made no argument, just presented what seems to be a persuasive one from others who know better.
Watch the video. I’m just the messenger. I’ll bet you don’t.
P.S. I don’t have a party, not being American. And this isn’t just a party thing. Republicans face the chop too from this process. It’s all about to become public. Get your popcorn.
I find it interesting that many of the people who are most afraid of Big Government, judicial overreach, and deficit spending, and supposedly are afraid of some nebulous conspiracy by the “deep state” in the form of the UN, NATO, or Climate Change, are also the most ardent supporters of these same elements as along as it is in support of their side or their agenda.
It reminds me of some of the very unfortunate homosexuals who are so conditioned to hate the very sexuality deep down they themselves possess, that they become the most virulent supporters of homophobia and the loudest protesters of anything that might be remotely accepting or open to non-straight ideas or points of view.
“The lady doth protest too much, methinks” seems aptly fitting for both the conspiracy minded souls and those that shout from the hills that Western Civilization is doomed (and perhaps worthy of God’s wrath) because of the gays and cross dressers.
What are the ramifications with the US Naval forces enforcing a blockade to all vessels calling at Iranian ports including Chinese flag vessels now that Chinese naval forces are in the area. I think it is time for serious talks.
China on Monday (local time) issued a stark warning to the United States against its decision to impose a blockade on the Strait of Hormuz and cautioned it not to interfere in China’s relations with Iran.
Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun said that Beijing would honour its trade and energy commitments with Tehran, saying Chinese vessels would keep operating in the area and warned against external interference.
There is another school of thought that China may influence Iran to come to a deal with an understanding that the US would not intervene should China move on Taiwan. At any rate there are no good choices with this war of choice chosen by Israel and the USA with the feeble excuse that they must stop Iran’s nuclear program which was ‘obliterated’ last June. There is no one in the current US administration capable of serious negotiations with Iran. Even if there were the rogue nation of Israel would not abide by any settlement. Interesting times.
Relevant question:
Especially relevant since Israel refuses to even admit their weapons exist, let alone allow inspectors to verify the quantity, safety, or other aspects of the program or stockpile.
Iran, Libya, and even North Korea (all loathsome regimes) have from some perspectives been more “moral” and transparent in their pursuit and/or possession of weapons of mass destruction when compared to Israel and its track record of secrecy, denial, and at times even lies regarding capabilities. To make matters even more sullied, Israel worked closely with the racist Apartheid government of South Africa as part of these efforts, despite an arms embargo on South Africa passed unanimously by the UN Security Council, which of course included both the U.S. and Soviet Union at the time.
Well said. I must remember these figures for when the conversion in the pub turns to how the people of Iran dislike their regime.
Also remember the Iranian protestors faced being shot dead, imprisoned, deliberately wounded such that they would be identified later in hospitals and tortured. That might have damped down the numbers, don’t you think?
How many No Kings idiots were shot dead? It seems the protest worked though. No kings before or after the protests. We’re waiting for their next protest topic. ![]()
In other words, a classic dictatorship supported by weak sycophantic minions who refuse to meet their responsibilities. A disgraceful indictment.
The USA political structure along with the Australian political structure are flawed with no safety net to keep singular individuals under control.
Constitutions should prevent Government/ POTUS outright control of both houses.
Plenty unfortunately were shot dead from 1775 to 1783, but in spite of that we eventually won our independence from a tyrannical monarchy.
You can bet I love my country, while still acknowledging it has at various times made tragic mistakes over the last 250 years. Fighting for independence from a monarchy that enforced preferred adherence to a single religion was most definitely NOT a mistake!
Wouldn’t be surprised if certain English citizens, government officials, and perhaps even clergy might have chanted “Death to America” at one point or another over the years. No matter, best of friends now in spite of it all.
I think you need to vary your reading of History. Its rarely as simple as many people think.
