Steve Irwin picks up atail outside of Australia

Looks like the Japanese aren’t waiting for Watson to come to them.

**or sadly ironic…possibly they are looking for him to lead them to the best whaling grounds??

LOL “Crazy Ivan”…he thinks he’s on a f%cking submarine…priceless!!

He tried to spin it in such a way that tsince they are following him they are not whaling, forgetting that the Japanese Government sent two boats to monitor him, leaving the rest of the fleet to do their work.

I really hope he gets boarded. They are even claiming that they have two Dutch representatives on board with them. Crew fast roping in fro ma helicopter would be awesome

Also the “No throwing BA” rule fro mteh Dutch last year (which was broken) is now applied to the RIBs as well.

“This is costing the Japanese government a lot of money… said Captain Watson. “Our objective is to bankrupt them.”

Good luck with that moonbat.

I found an Iridium Sat phone number that is said to be Watson’s. I also noticed that you can send a message to it fro mthe Iridium website. Is there a way I can confirm that the number is for him? I am pretty sure it is.

here is a copy of the release listing the contact numbers.

They got the ‘stealth’ boat fixed…this is off of their facebook…I cant believe the things people say in support of the whales. Comments such as the Sea Shepherds should tag team so when one ship needs fuel the other takes over, or the simple kick their ass*holes…or calling them murderers. Maybe Im crazy but I cannot understand how wound up these people can get over whales when HUMAN beings die every day in whatever hole in the ground they claim residence…

Kevin

Unfortunately, I can no longer even pick a fight on facebook as any comment I leave is deleted in under 5 seconds.

Kevin

HEHE I had a friend text TORA TORA TORA to the Sat phone from the iridium site

What I don’t get is that if these guys are as useless as everyone says, why is the Japanese government going to the expense of sending not one but 2 ships along with the whalers?

Useless or not, wouldn’t you agree that any government would be acting wisely by protecting its citizens from pirates?

And by that logic the Japanese government should have despatched several ships to protect their citizens from Somalian pirates, since there have been half a dozen separate piracy incidents off the Somalian coast involving Japanese flagged vessels since 2008.

It ain’t about protecting citizens from piracy…it’s about money and/or the potential loss thereof.

That’s a bit simplistic, I think. Money is certainly a component of the Japanese government’s decision to dedicate resources to chasing the “Steve Irwin” around. But it isn’t the only reason, I’m sure.

They do have JMSDF or Japanese Coast Guard ships in the area of Somalia. I think the ships sent down to watch teh SI are only occupied by naval or police personnell

Kinda sneaky editing your earlier stupid post to make it even more stupid, but that’s ok I guess, because it just adds to the confusion.

Oh wait…

We’re not supposed to be confused, are we? So next time, please add a new post and don’t change your old one beyond recognition.

Stupid? That’s the pot calling the kettle black isn’t it?

C_A is quite often very reflective.

Reflective or reactive?!
I will say that I reserve the right edit my postings…that’s why they put that little “edit” button there. :stuck_out_tongue:
That being said, I do apologise to the Captain if my edit appeared confusing - I can assure you that it was certainly not my intention at all.
Oh yeah…no problems with you saying my post is stupid. i would have just preferred if you had said “Lakota, your comment is stupid because - - - - -”

Lakota, your comment (now edited) was stupid because it was just a waste of space, and didn’t contribute anything to the conversation. I can see that you obviously do have something to contribute, and I welcome that.

I get really frickin’ grumpy sometimes and I don’t always rein myself in when perhaps I should. I’m sorry that I offended you; it puts you in very good company however as I’ve offended just about everyone here at one time or another, sometimes more than once.

C_A

No offence taken at all Captain…I’ve grown a thick skin over the years!
Cheers
