Breitbart? Wasn’t Steve Bannon CEO of Breitbart? He was also on the board of Cambridge Analytica which has a really shady history.
Breitbart? The Breitbart which whipped up hysteria about the need for a Wall, which the Mexicans didn’t pay for, which Bannon then created a charity to fund, which he robbed? That Breitbart?
Yes, that guy funded by Robert Mercer who backed Cambridge. Nasty guys but no worse than many others. I just fault Bannon for being too arrogant and dumb to think he would not be caught out. Bannon has an MBA from Harvard, graduated with honors.
Obama has a rather impressive resume as well. Not too many people here looking in his closet. Why is that?
Or maybe not. Think about it:
- Bannon robs the public of over a million dollars.
- Bannon is caught and cries “Deep State!” Whereupon his fans fund a Fund Me page to pay his legal expenses.
- Bannon is convicted.
- Bannon is pardoned.
- Bannon writes a book about the Deep State conspiracy against him. The public buys his book, which he touts on BBN and Fox.
At every step he bilks his fans of money and they love it.
Because neatly pressed suits and Nobel prizes are boring.
Thank you for my first chuckle of the day.
Careful. They might re-open the “tan gate” investigation if they dig too deep into those suits
:
What is that TDS-thing people get accused of having? A tendency to nit-pick over everything a certain POTUS does? Gee, that’s NEVER happened before…
Oh yeah. Times have definitely changed.
The horror…
https://news.yahoo.com/fbi-lawyer-plead-guilty-falsifying-160600549.html
There seems to be an awfully big investigation on something that never happened?
The left wing always fails to mention this. “nothing to see here!!..move along…” If it’s not regurgitated from the WAPO,.(the same rag that got a Pulitzer prize for RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA…
Houston Chronicle rag also reported this
https://www.chron.com/politics/world/article/Putin-Ordered-2016-Democratic-Hack-Bipartisan-15492483.php
Powerabout: You claim POTUS44 bugged Trump’s phone. Evidence? You supplied none. Instead you supplied news accounts that the FBI spied on a volunteer campaign hand named Carter Page, who is not Trump. And the FBI had good reason to (see below).
Injunear: Are you really looking for evidence that the campaign and transition teams for POTUS45 were involved with RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA? And you don’t want it from MSM? Ok. How about from the Republicans in the Senate?
Senate Investigation on “Russian Active Measures and Campaign Interference”. Big report. 1,000 pages. Conclusions?
Page 703:
…Russia and other countries took advantage ofthe Transition Team’s inexperience, transparent opposition to Obama Administration policies, and Trump’s desire to deepen ties with Russia, to pursue unofficial channels through which Russia could conduct diplomacy. The lack of vetting of foreign interactions by Transition officials left the Transition open to influence and manipulation by foreign intelligence services, government leaders, and co-opted business executives.
…Across the Transition Team’s engagements with foreign actors, particularly with regard to Russia or individuals with ties to Russia, the Transition Team appeared disorganized and unprepared, which created notable counterintelligence vulnerabilities.
…Russian officials, intelligence services, and others acting on the Kremlin’s behalf were capable of exploiting the Transition’s shortcomings for Russia’s advantage. Based on the available information, it is possible-and even likely-that they did so…These actions were not part of a visible overriding foreign policy; instead, efforts were narrow and transactional, seeking outcomes on only a select set of issues. This created unnecessary confusion among U.S. allies and other world leaders, creating the potential to harm America’s ability to conduct diplomacy both bilaterally and in multilateral institutions, and undermine U.S. credibility and influence.
But the meetings between Trump’s team and the Russians began before all that, with Paul Manafort. Page 28:
…Manafort hired and worked increasingly closely with a Russian national, Konstantin Kilimnik. Kilimnik is a Russian intelligence officer. Kilimnik quickly became an integral part of Manafort’s operations in Ukraine and Russia… Kilimnik and Manafort formed a close and lasting relationship that would endure to the 2016 U.S. elections and beyond.
See it? Right there: Russia, Russia, Russia, in just one paragraph in a 1,000 page document chock full of Russias.
But let’s move on to the FISA warrants on Carter Page. Here’s what the report says about him on page 527 (edited to save space):
Carter Page was the only member of the Trump Campaign’s foreign policy advisers publicly identified as a Russia “expert.” Page had previously lived in Russia and worked on Russia policy and energy issues. For these reasons, Page was a subject of interest to… Russian intelligence, which had in previous years interacted with Page.…Prior to joining the Trump Campaign, Page communicated with, met, and provided private business information to Russian SVR [an intelligence service] officers in New York, whom the FBI believed were acting in a manner consistent with attempts to recruit Page.
So given all the communications between POTUS45’s boys and the Russians, why wouldn’t the administration of POTUS44 be concerned about it?
But none of the facts–the whole Manafort hobnobbing with a Russian intelligence agent, the Transition team getting played by Russian intelligence, Page being a target of the SVR–none of it bothers you. What gets your panties in a bunch is that overeager FBI investigators gun-decked FISA warrants to surveil Page. It’s like you want to give Al Capone a pass because Elliot Ness fudged the court order asking for his IRS return.
Russian agents…Ebola killer virus…the administration of POTUS44 was always on the lookout, protecting the Republic from enemies foreign and domestic. And as of today we have 175,000 reasons why that zealousness is a good thing.
Lot of reports going on, which ones are true, or is it in the eye of the beholder?
The Republican Party is a bunch of rich people who use religion to convince poor people that the compassionate people are out to get them.
Is your response to the 1,000 page report of a 4-year long investigation by the US Senate really “meh, who knows if it’s true”?
That’d be like denying a worldwide consensus of scientific experts just because a pundit on TV told you that…ahh wait, nevermind, I get it now, continue with your day
and the Dems keep telling the poor they will get them a better life so vote for us…doesnt seem to have ever worked?
yes very hard to learn anything except when you see people questioned in congress and the many other facets of gov.
When under oath you can ( mostly) believe what you are hearing
Really?
How’s your weekend going, spending much of that overtime pay?
