For the last 4 years anytime a working stiff complained about inflation the reply from the left (& the lefty gCaptain forum choir) was, “The US’s inflation is no where as bad as the rest of the world & that working stiffs in the US should be happy paying more for things. It’s covids fault!”. When people complained about rampant illegal immigration the narrative was, “The US border is secure & the number of new immigrats pales in comparison to what Turkey & some other EU countries have”. The same about crime, as long as Americans were safer than those in Haiti & Somalia the Biden administration, the DOJ & big city Democrat mayors were doing swell jobs. Now you mention a recession that I guess amazingly will only hit the United States & no where else in the world? I wonder what the narrative from the left will be now? 
I’m bet their previous “American Exceptionalism” opinion is going to fall out of favor & we’ll be the worst at everything again.

I know on government & large corporations email accounts the header will say, “This email originated from a non------ source” if not apart of the clique. Prehaps it’s time to get something like that for government/contractors/big corp phone messages too?

Doesn’t really help if someone in the “clique” adds someone that is not and then they stay silent and just listen without speaking up though.
I’d be willing to bet money that they’ll find a way to come down hard on the editor from the Atlantic for “unauthorized receipt and improper handling of class material” or something though.
