That must have been a miserable trip.
Obviously better than being in Nigeria I guess.
Anyone that endures that should be given some special consideration. Im guessing holding down a job would be pretty easy for them.

That whole situation is one of true desperation. Not sure where they thought they’d end up or how long they would be stuck there and don’t no if they considered those things but were just driven to get out at any cost. Probably many lost without a trace. Over the years have seen many different desperate attempts by people to escape their current environment. The earliest I remember were East Berliners trying to beat the wall and Cubans crossing the Florida Strait. Sad state of affairs.
I bet there are far more that don’t make it than do. . .
