Stcw codes

were can I find information on the STCW code section A II/3
operation level

200 ton mate international assessments, and can they be done on a simulator??

uscg web site is of little help in this unless someone can point out a link that I missed

I don’t think there are any.

STCW only applies to Mariners employed on vessels greater than 200 Gross Register Tons (Domestic Tonnage), or 500 Gross Tons (ITC Tonnage), operating seaward of the boundary lines specified in Title 46 CFR Part 7.

Many of the assessments can be done at a school, and/or in a simulator. Approved courses can be found HERE, and all of the assessments that each school can conduct are listed.

If you’ve taken Radar Observer (Unlimited), you’ve already done a bunch. If you’ve taken ARPA, you’ve already done a bunch. So on and so forth. You’ll be able to figure out exactly which ones you need by perusing the above mentioned documents.

Good luck!
