Rules of the Road Exam (Two times within a year)?

Hello,

I am waiting to hear back from an evaluator about this but I just completed an exam on July 3 that had a Rules of the Road Exam (Q100 - 50 Questions).

I am looking to take another exam within the next month that has the same Rules of the Road exam.

Does anyone know if you need to take the same Rules of the Road exam if you previously took it within a year?

Thanks in advance,

Pat

No one can answer this question without more context on why you took it the first time and why you are taking it the second time.

Sorry about that. I took and passed the 500 Master exams last week and and I am ATT to take the 500 Mate exams. The reason why I am taking the 500 Mate is because those exams also test for the 1600 Mate which I would get once I accumulate 90 days of recency and since I already studied for the 500 Master, I want to take the 500 Mate while I have everything I studied for still retained in my head

Sounds like a good plan. My info is dated (a decade old), but I took 500 Master and 500 Mate the same week. It was 11 modules total, which tells me (and to my recollection) that I had to take Rules only once that week.

Then yes, you have to take whatever exams are assigned to you.

The evaluator got back to me and left a message. She said she was pretty sure that I don’t have to take rules again if I had taken it within a year but she had to confirm with her supervisor.
