I just renewed my Tankerman/AB unlimited, Tankerman Assist, RFPNW, VSO, etc… it took 3 weeks !
the NMC website did not keep me informed as well as the automated emails for some reason !
I just checked the NMC just now !, and it still says Pending review still !
and I have my new (MMC) !
so take what you see on the NMC website with a grain of salt !
on Monday I will call the NMC, because when I check the validation status webpage (USCG) it still says Pending review!
and if my employer does an online validation check I will not show up as a valid credentialed mariner !
& so the headache continues !
updated: One day after this post the website showed a valid credential.
I’m still fighting with that place. What a joke and waist of tax money…
I mailed an application in and from time received to time issued was only 9 days.
