More maritime academy freeloaders
No and I personally don’t like him. However nice deflection on answering a simple question. By the way Mick never went to sea.
Will get back to you on ATs

He was a jerk.
Met him at bar in French Quarter during AT. Old academy grad was ripping him a new one for some reason or another. Fun to watch!

Will get back to me on ATs, not that hard. You either did them or you didn’t and they weren’t that complex. You either were on a ROS ship, took a GMATS class, did stuff for MARAD in DC, walked around MSC headquarters, did something on a training ship or if you were real gun ho you did your AT on the Naval Academy YPs. Shouldn’t be that hard to figure out.

Really don’t care that you met him at a bar in the French Quarter, should be able to answer what that AT was.

Broken arm, waiver NFFD

NOLA MSC surge

NOLA MARAD

NOLA MSC surge

One year couldn’t schedule because of new NROWS booking system in place and I was on multiple trips to N Korea. No phones. No internet. No outside contact. Waiver

Last AT I taught GMATS class on how to evade MARAD.

See that wasn’t so hard. Again proves my point that ATs are a joke.

By the way you just confirmed who I thought you were.
:Like it makes a difference.

That’s exactly the way it worked when I went, and i evin gradgeated two. And that was apparently some 30 odd years ago.

So aks me if I care. On second thought, don’t aks.
Lots of brand new KP kids working illegally at my previous drilling employer.

And now I find myself working alongside a USNR/MMR Maine grad from the 90s who never went to sea in any capacity or even worked in the marine or transportation industry for the first 7 yrs or so after graduation.

You guys do the best you can holding your own money takers accountable and I’ll do the same regarding mine.

There is no escaping these thieves.

They are from every school.
Why don’t you ask him what the USNR/MMR program paid him in the 90’s. I was at MMA from 90-94 and if I recall the grand total was $250 per semester after your freshman year. The “scholarship” everyone is referring to didn’t cover the cost of books. However, many of use did fulfill our obligations to the USNR and many like me are still working at sea.

Anyway if your fired up about free money please direct your attention to the Kings Point grads who were obligated to MMR however never set foot on a vessel after graduation and let their license expire. Those people got a free ride. If you got a free ride at a state school it’s because you were selected to a NROTC position in which you had to go active duty after graduation.
