Newbie like me ( or the one’s that wanna be good at what they do ) look up to you guys, even though I have not been on the bad end of the pointy stick ( c. captain ) or the rest of the guys, a person should enjoy being corrected sometimes, if anything it should teach a lesson on if you do it right the first lives could be saved, ( eample the concordia incident ) now back to your regularly scheduled program. Lol

Moderators? Well we do have one moderator, c.captain. Why is he our sole moderator? For the simple reason he’s the only one who [I]consistently[/I] hits the report button when he sees BS posts (like the pro-obama con-obama game of political footsy we deleted today).
I’ll also add to that if you don’t like the fact we moderated [I]your[/I] post after someone else hit the report button on you then send us an email. We [I]might[/I] say tough shit but we’ll also consider your point of view the next time a post you write is reported.

Back to serious topics… I agree fully but the number of new posts daily far exceeds what was posted in '09. The problem is logistics… we can’t force the use of spell check and no longer have the ability to correct the grammer in posts (just getting people to write coherent titles has been difficult).
That said Mikey is doing a really good job at correcting (or deleting) posts that have been reported. There is also a “Rate this thread” feature which allows you to rate a post on a scale of 1 to 5. Using these features greatly helps us in identifying bad and off-topic posts.
