Hello! Was wondering if anyone has an idea of processing time for med certs. I did a search and saw MMC were taking some time. Do med certs take about the same time as MMC to renew or is it possible to be faster?
Am I looking at two months? I also looked at the NMC stats for processing but that’s a little hard to gauge.
I submitted mine last Wednesday and haven’t gotten a confirmation of receipt yet

Sent mines in via email on November 30th. Took about 10 days for confirmation on being recieved. Then another 2 weeks to get the cert in the mail.

If there are no comments, it could be a quick renewal like @MFOWelectrician. If there is a comment or something that pushes it over to some sort of “medical review” you might be in for a long wait.

Just renewed mine and Medical took 30 days and MMC was about 60.

Thanks all! I also called them earlier and they said at most 14 business days to confirm receipt and that it shouldn’t take long to process since I have nothing that needs to be evaluated.
Reassuring info! My MMC is good until 2026 so not worries about that yet
