I know its not required for engineers, but wondered if anyone else took the class for the hell of it, just looking to pad my resume a little more and wondered what anyone else thought about it ???
It’s impossible to know too much. I’d feel better if a crewman had MCP on their docs.
I can only speak for the ships that I’ve been on, but no one notices when an engineer has MED PIC. It would benefit you personally, but not sure about professionally.
