How can they require us to take this class when it is only offered in 2 places, seems like an unreasonable burden. Not only the cost but this will delay me by over 4 months sitting for my chief mate just waiting for this ridiculous 4 hour class.
I think most Medical PIC courses cover the Management of Medical care course. Medical PIC courses cost a little more but are offered more frequently.
I was approved to test for CM under new rules, and I never took this class. MPIC is good enough apparently. Don’t sweat it.
