Anyone have access to a formal maintenance plan for vessel Fuel tanks and lines? It’s for a good cause (would be applying it to something non-vessel related but for a program that desperately needs it)
The first, one of easiest maintenance programs I ever seen was with TDW in the late 90’s. It was all paper based. Each inspection sheet had a CFR reference notion & the criteria was taken line to line from the CRF. If everything was marked, “yes” then everything was up to snuff with the CFR. Later, on newer vessels they started putting SOLAS references numbers. If everything was marked, “yes” then good enough for CFR’s & SOLAS. Very little thought needed to create that maintenance program. Below is one of the links to the CFR regarding fuel piping.

As to a formal style of maintenance plan for vessels consider looking at USCG Streamlined Inspection Program you may find something you could use.
