Y&S Marine is seeking experienced professionals for both maritime and land-based positions.

Hello I’m planning a trip to come down to Louisiana and I would like to stay at your place to try to get my 1st mariner job, however my fiance will be helping me drive down there from Jacksonville Florida. Would she need to stay at a hotel while I’m searching for work?

You are certainly welcome to bring your girlfriend with you. Please call me to discuss further. Thanks.

Mmmmmm, sounds like a little threesome action at the Chateau ;-)

you think your life sucks working in the offshore? imagine being an oil trader?

maybe but I was happier being a sailor

Good traders make money up or down, it doesn’t matter to them. They love the volatility the current market has.

Claudette is there any news? I was looking to maybe head that way next week and just checking in to see how things were there on the ground.

Chad

Good luck “chad” hahaha !

Perfect name for a perfect question

I recently had another ECO captain stay here while taking the leadership and management class in Galliano.
Yes, I do still offer a discounted rate of $70/night for mariners coming down to take any classes.

This includes a deluxe continental breakfast consisting of bagels, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal bars, protein bars, ham and cheese muffins, grits, oatmeal, banana bread/cinnamon rolls, cereal and milk, juice, coffee, tea, bottled water, etc.

There are small refrigerators for your personal use and a washer and dryer if you need to wash your clothes.

If I can be of help to any of you in providing nice, affordable lodging while going to school in the area, please email me at claudettelp@charter.net, PM, or call (985) 537-6773

Wishing you all the very best!!!

Well. I am a firm believer that main stream media (MSM) is full of bs and propaganda, and shall always be researched further. Perhaps even taken with a grain of salt. It will however, be interesting to see what happens in the coming months with influx of oil from Iraq. Looks as if MSNBC begs to differ. Then again, MSNBC is plain silly. I of course am hoping for the best for our national interest and or Mariners.
