So I’ve a member/lurker on Gcaptain for quite a while (just recently got my password reset to be able to post) and the biggest complaint people make is about people reposting the same questions over and over. This is common here and on just about every other message board. What one board ended up doing was creating a how-to section of the forum and had moderators move well written, useful how-tos into this section so that they would be readily available for people to view.
Just a thought - but I figured it would make valuable information easier to find such as how to get sea time from military service etc or how to apply for an upgrade (simplistic yes, but it can go further then that).
