Looks like alot of Amercian Iron! WOW! I want to get a kick start panhead at some point. Just cause it’s cool.
2010 FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited
I had a 2008 Rocker C, but I sold it for my Street Glide. The Screemin Eagle is my dads bike. He had a 1988 bagger with a RevTech 115ci in it that was built! It had compression releases, stroked and cammed out and would pull a wheelie from 1st to 3rd. But he sold it for that 2005.

You bet it’s cool, although be prepared to either you or someone else do a lot of work on that Iron. Parts are also a problem, not a show stopper by any means but still a challenge. I had one back in the 70’s - it was down more than up but I’ll say this, I was King of the Road when it was up and flying down the highway. Ended up giving it to Vet friend of mine. He still has it but I don’t think it has seen the light of day in a decade.
About your deer problem in UP - I can relate. Many deer caused accidents in Montana, way too many deaths. One just last week outside of Missoula, oh yea, plenty of city deer, dam, some folks feed them which only makes the situation that much worse.

Not far, I’m down in the Bitterroots, near Victor.
Cool, I’m on the north Flathead, west of Whitefish.

Yea. we bee about 150 miles apart as the crow flies, almost on an exact north/south line. I know your neck of the woods, beautiful country. I’m in mountains, 4500 elevation. My back yard is Gash Point and the Totems. I use to know several merchant seaman living in the Zoo but as time goes bye we lost contact. One sailed as Captain for Sea Land, the other was a Bosun, forgot his company. I heard both moved to who knows where, probably the South West.
I feel out of place

Town Deer = Crossbow…
Up until about 3 years ago I had a 76 kick shovel.(4-speed 10:1 comp, andrews cams,S&S) If you do the routine maitnance, gearbox, clutch, points, pushrods, rockerarms she ran fine and won’t put ya walking. If just jump on and ride, problems show up.
I equate old harleys to women, if you take time, talk, spend money and pay extra attention to em’ you’ll have no problems. If ya just run out, jump on em’,fly around, doggem, treat em’ like crap then throw em into the garage, you’ll have problems…;~)

The three S words: Shoot - Shovel - Shut-up

Absolutely - My point is these old harleys have passed through many owners, some good, some bad, plus all the miles accumulated takes a toll. I recommend a total strip-down, examine all parts, renew the frayed, reassemble, don’t forget your oil, make a modest test run, then if all looks cool let her rip.
