DP World has announced plans for two new terminals in Fujairah linking to its flagship in Jebel Ali overland bypassing the Strait of Hormuz

Dubai-headquartered DP World said it had reached an agreement in principle with the Fujairah Ports Authority under a 50-year concession, to develop two new terminals on the UAE’s east coast. The new facilities would be the Al Rugaylat container and multi-purpose terminal, and the Dibba General Cargo terminal.
