Son in law Jared Kushner a long time friend of Netanyahu and a business partner of the Saudis who want regime change along with Witkoff a former real estate friend of Trumps to negotiate with Iran thru the Pakistanis. Neither Witkoff nor Kushner have the technical expertise or negotiating experience to deal with a foreign government which is why they failed the first time. Predictably they failed again so now Trump is going to do whatever comes to mind which consists at the moment of stopping all traffic in that region. All this is subject to change hourly.

Oh while the negotiations were ongoing Trump and the Secretary of State attended a cage match fight in Miami to pick up some pointers.

And navy ships do have AIS. They typically don’t. What we’ve seen since the start of the war in Iran, all Navy ships have gone dark. ships entering into the Indian Ocean coming out of the Strait of Malacca or southbound out of the Suez Canal have turned off their AIS. So the fact that the Michael Murphy turned it on is fairly significant.

I think that with a little help from AI one can get this blip transfered to Teheran or red square in Moscow too.

Does this “blockade” mean the US Navy is going to sink commercial ships entering the strait? Are they going to fire on them regardless of who or what or are they going to do a WW1 U-boat thing and let the crews off before sinking them? Isn’t a blockade an act of war? Will congress declare war on whatever FoC flag nation registered the blockade runner? Is the navy going to park a fleet of ships sideways across the strait (two parallel rows each showing port side) and hope that no one will collide with them? How many navy ship captains are willing to commit more war crimes?

I thought blockading was illegal or was that just Iran’s blockade as incomplete as it was? Now the US is imposing a complete blockade which is worse than Iran’s and just as illegal. All this could have been avoided if someone with a brain had consulted with the generals and admirals who have studied this situation for decades. However, brains seem to be in short supply. The last person Trump hired that was qualified to do their job was Stormy Daniels.

While all “good things” and back-downs are announced Mondays in the early morning?

• 23. March (Monday); delayed for 5 days (until Saturday)
• 4. April (Saturday); in 48 hours “all Hell will reign down on” Iran.

     Later that day he announced Iran had agreed to a ceasefire deal, based on the Iranian proposal.

I wonder why this pattern repeat itself?
Could it have something to do with the closing and opening of NYSE?
