Hi all, I hope you are having luck. I was talking with a freind today at Gulfmark, he told me they have lost a couple wheelhouse people to a drill ship and he thinks they have a couple spots open, mate or captain, I don’t know which. Hope it helps somebody.
Good Luck

I have applied with them a couple of times online without response. Where is their office located? Does anyone know?
Gulfmark’s offices? leave New Orleans International Airport & drive west to Houma. go past Houma center and take a left (south) on Bayou Black. head south a ways keeping the bayou on the right. at the gas station near the big tree bear right. look for the Tibedeaux place on the left as you drive along. be sure to stop in and say hello to Mr. Frank, he’s gettin’ on in years. good sweet tea if you’ve the time. and Miss Kelly’s doughnuts are famous at the church bake sale. after a ways you’ll see the bay and some of them shrimping boys, if they’re actin all crazy and hopped up best to jest keep drivin. one of them, Hebert, is missin’ an eye after his ex (Miss Kelly’s daughter, Miss Guidry) shot him with an arrow during a fight. funny thing was Miss Guidry was blind in one eye too! so they were a pair! hahaha. that’s a story there!!! of course it all ended badly for Miss Guidry after her cousin (was it Bujeau?) shot her for messin around with her other cousin Gautreaux . theres a baby too. last I heard that baby was livin over in Morgan City. She got some boat trash captain thinkin its HIS child! hahahaha. just like La Bauve!! oh hahah hahahah. well well well, anyway keep an eye out for those boys as liken enough they’re crazy drunk.
hmmm… where was you drivin to? I plumb lost myself with all my jabberin! have some more sweet tea and sit down, cousin Arcenaux sould be here soon and he’s got a right head for directions.
now that is just plain funny
thanks. and believe it or not was not meant to be disrespectful in any way. As a new englander I have really enjoyed working in the O&G industry which allowed me a look into that cajun world. good people. so much more friendly than many of us cold yankees.

I too have heard the story of Herbert and Miss Guidry. I don’t think anyone could make up a story that crazy! It has to be true.
Of course it’s true and you read it here on our forum…
steve, correction please “it’s true and you read it here on our forum” FIRST !
I concur absolutely and without a doubt…
It ain’t in St Rose. Been there done that. Best cal:eek:l em up!
I’m about 99.9% sure they are still in St. Rose. Just go over the bridge into Kenner (from the airport) and the offices will be on your right, turn at the BBQ place.
