It is true, but you need large OSV (or unlimited) for the top of the range. $650/day for Master on a 280’ OSV.

I came from a jet boat that I ran for almost 4 yrs but as of this moment I’m not gonna head to jet boat, I’m going out of country

Not hating, stating a fact. You’re not on a jet boat because it’s still at Patterson being built. And you’d have to have a 1600/3000itc with DP unlimited to do my job if I’m whom you’re referring too. You can have all the crewboats we have. LOL

Searched the forum over and over, Can’t find any pay for Engineers at GOL. Anyone know the current rates for the engine department at [B]GOL[/B]? Don’t need any rates for Chouest, Candies etc…

I don’t ask the engineers their pay rate, but believe its on par with the captains. So around $700 +or- a bit.

Its true !!! they just approved a raise today if Im not mistaken! and its a big raise …I dont think Chouest will loose any of their Crew especially those Captains! and for those who left the Company I guess, some of them are blaming themselves…(well if Im them) hehe

Gentlemen it is official starting this coming April 16th ECO got a 2nd raise! 2nd & 3rd Captains is additional 200$ and think about the relief & Lead? of course, they got much bigger raise…and I dont know for the crew and engineers …

Starts April 16-30th pay period for the PSV guys.

I heard HOS gave a pay raise starting on Easter. I have no idea if this is true. If its not, I bet they will lose even more people.
