Anyone know the specifics about what’s going to happen to the CIVMAR’s if the gov’t shuts down? I’m guessing the guys on the ships will still be working but what about the pool, training, etc. The DON posted a memo that all of the USN sailors would still be earning wages, just not getting paid. Same thing for us?
If your getting paid, and you get laid off because of the shut down. You will most likely be paid retroactive when you return to work. Thats how its always been in the past. Enjoy your vacation on us…
