Excellent Louisiana Cook looking for an onboard assignment

Hello,

I’ve reviewed, searched and researched the gCaptain site… and learned. I’ve uploaded my resume’ and answered all questions, set my alerts, ect… Now my question is this: Is there anything I’m missing re: finding a job?

All suggestions and constructive criticism welcome.

Have you made the trip to galliano and Golden Meadow and started knocking on doors yet? Seems to be the most effective way of finding a job. Also try Fairfield Nodal.

Maybe they will hire you and we can get rid of the cook we got.

Try Taylors international! They don’t pay much but once onboard if you are good some Captain could put in a good word for you. I know of a couple of cooks that got their jobs that way.
