Do Tankers or Freight Ships use Medical personnel?

I think the 3/1 month rotation that stuck to my memory was from old DynCorp/SIU contracts with MSC. They used to hire medical officers but I don’t know if those types of contracts still exist. A CIVMAR hire would be 4/1.

Offshore drilling rigs have medics assigned. Acadian has a lot of contracts. Not sure how busy they are, though, with the current downturn in offshore work. https://acadian.com/our-company/
