Dead Horse Time

Something showed up on my computer about the California fires. (Forgive me.) Several news sources including USA Today, CNN, The Blaze, MSN, have reported that roughly half of all the LA firetrucks are out of service due to cutbacks in budget, including laying off a lot of their maintenance crew. If this is true, there should be a price to pay. There was even a story in the NYT that reported firetrucks responding to California had to stop in Sacramento for an “emissions test”. Do some politicians really do things like this?

Okay grandpa, we’re going to leave you in your chair in this nice park for a few hours so you can talk to all the nice people walking by.
